I realized that we can teach a lot of stuff to a 15 month old. Though they may not respond instantly, they eventually get the message.


Couple of weeks back, i started to teach him numbers by counting out my fingers. Everytime, I end the counting by asking"How many fingers do you have?" and then would answer it myself saying"Ten".


Yesterday, i was just doing the routine counting and then finished with the question, this time waiting for him to give me the answer..and i heard a "Yen"....


Then in my motherly enthusiasm i asked him the second time and he gave me a "Doo". Guess that's ok, as far as he knows there's a Doo and a Yen..
