I had observation classes the last week wherein i had the opportunity to observe children in the montessori environment.I was amazed. These children were working on some activity or other, there was so much energy in that room that i felt like i was in some examintaion hall..where you have students in apt concentration bent over their papers, thinking and writing.This atmosphere was so much similiar except that the children were involved in some activity ,doing it with tremendous interest and concentration, and these were children between the age group 21/2 to 6 years.It was like as if the children loved working on what they were doing and were interested in working more if there were choices.
