Haircut Day:

This is usually and easily the day I dread the most. So I prepared Arav that he is going to get a haircut because he has hair right down his eyes and he could look even more handsome with a new haircut.
Our man is all excited since he comprehends the word handsome. But there is a deal ( the carrot instead of the stick)

The Deal :

We go to 'Just Glow'..a gift shop outside my flats to buy a toy car after the haircut, if...... Arav can sit still throughout the haircut. After a hi-five and a thumbs up sign from Arav, we were all set to go for the haircut at our local naturals parlour.

So where the last time he literally made the hairdresser chase him around the chair, here he was a smiling buddha! He did get restless for a few minutes in between, but the stylist was very sweet and he kept talking to him softly and calmly. It was the razor machine that ended the zen phase. He was totally tickled whenever it touched his skin and after that he kept squirming. Finally, I had to gently persuade the stylist to give up.

Arav's hair is straight and silky. The stylist who understood mushroom cut did not understand that I wanted a slight uneveness on the hair layer that would fall on the forehead. Instead he heard spikes (yikes!) and he spiked Arav's hair. So at the end it looks like an unusal mushroom cut!

But Arav had a great day..he thought he looked handsome, his hair was gone and he felt light and he brought home a rocket launching truck.
