Standing without help!
Mar 7, 2007: Surprise, surprise..right at the unexpected time, Arav decided to stand without help for two seconds..Sundar and I were jus talking and suddenly this guy clambers to a standing position holding Sundar and then he took them off..we did not breathe for those two seconds..WOW..he looked proud to have acheived this milestone at 7 months..:)
Mar 20, 2007: And now the standing ovation...:) Arav went clap clap today..he was so excited he did that feat, the claps never stopped after that..infact they were routinely accompanied by giggles and gurgles..!
March 24, 2007: Arav tasted Mango duet Ice-Cream for the first time..and he wanted to finish it..sorry sweetheart, just not yet!
Mar 25, 2007: This baby has a great spirit (not being very modest i know)..he kept practicing his standing skills all the time like he was in a game that could never end..finally today he stood on his own for about 10 secs...so proud of you baby..:)
Mar 26, 2007: The blabbering has progressed tremendously from a mere "Tha-Tha" to Va-ba-ba;krr-krr;Brrr-brrr;that-thi-tha-thi!
Mar 26, 2007: He has started to give away gummy bites; to just about anyone he fancies!
Mar 27, 2007: Nithesh (9mths) met Arav. They did not exactly warm up to each other but found something to tug or pinch within reach!Nithesh esp seemed to be interested in Arav's hair and eyes...;) Our man was not amused, but he tried to be diplomatic and ignored the poor guy...!
Mar 30, 2007: When Sundar said Ta-Ta, Arav wanted to leap out of my hands and get to the door. He understands...! Today the big guy tasted some toblerone, it was all over his mouth and fingers..he looked sooo cute..:)
