Arav and I were getting back from my mom's place. On the way the car stopped at a signal and right outside our (passenger) door there was a young girl standing by the side of the road. She was wearing a brightly coloured salwar with sequins and glass beads that was shining because of traffic lights.

Arav: Woow..amma look at that preeety girl. The preety girl wearing salwar.

Couple of firsts:
1.The first time Arav referred to a girl as pretty!!
2.The first time he said "wearing salwar".

I am happy his language skills along with his observation skills are improving!
